Azerbaijanis are trying to restore life in their native Karabakh lands, to rebuild cities and villages in the places where their ancestors' homes were, the Director-General of the UNIAN Information Agency, Mikhail Ganitsky, said in an article he wrote after his last visit to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Report informs.
In the article, Mikhail Ganitsky talked about the resettlement of Armenians in the lands of Azerbaijan in the 19th century, their claims to these territories over time, and the destruction of Azerbaijanis' traces in the ancient lands of Azerbaijan.
He also drew attention to the mine problem in the liberated areas. He emphasized that restoration works are currently being carried out in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions of Azerbaijan.
