Ukraine deputy PM: There will be completely new Aghdam soon

Ukraine has a number of industries to offer Azerbaijan, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, told reporters in Aghdam, Report informs.

“As you know, Ukraine is one of the biggest grain producers, this can be useful in restoring the liberated Azerbaijani lands. Metallurgy and pharmaceutical industry, which is very well developed in Ukraine, can also be helpful. We are ready to share our experience in this industry with our Azerbaijani friends. We know that Azerbaijan was considering options for the production of insulin in the country and we are ready to share this experience as well,” he said.

The deputy prime minister also noted the rapid change and development of Azerbaijan over the years of independence.

“When I came to Azerbaijan for the first time, many years ago, construction was underway in Baku, and when I came here a few years later and now as an official, I see how much everything has changed and is done with care and love. But when I passed the checkpoint in Aghdam, I saw how terrible everything was. I have a question - why was it necessary to destroy it? I have no doubt that soon there will be a completely new Aghdam. What I see gives me hope.”
