Turkish Deputy Minister: Armenian vandals committed crimes against Karabakh's cultural heritage

"We are delighted to gather at the Ataturk Cultural Center for an exhibition of our valuable artist Nigar Abbasbeyli's painting 'Heritage of Karabakh'. The display with the works of Nigar Abbasbayli, supported by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye, presents the landscape of Karabakh and Shusha to the art lovers in Istanbul," said Turkish Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister Ozgul Ozkan Yavuz.

The Deputy Minister noted that unique tones are reflected in the paintings: "Armenian vandals have committed great crimes against the cultural heritage, architectural monuments, and historical sites of Karabakh. However, in the works here, we can actually see the hope in those lands. Because if you have a culture with an ancient history, no one can destroy it."

Ozgul Ozkan Yavuz stressed that Azerbaijani culture has a deep history: "We believe that with such a rich chronological culture, Azerbaijan will restore the historical image of Karabakh and make it better than before. As the Turkish state, we are interested in all cooperation with our ministry and relevant agencies on this issue."
