The head of the Azerbaijani community of the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, MP Tural Ganjaliyev, said in his speech that Armenia continues its aggressive policy and criminal activities in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. He stressed that Azerbaijan responded to this by using its right of self-defense.

Touching upon the damage caused to the civilian population and infrastructure in the border area due to the Armenian attack, Ganjaliyev said that all this was a gross violation of international humanitarian law.

He also noted that Armenia has not given up its occupation policy, claims our new territories, and pursues a policy of annexation at the state level. All this is confirmed by the "a new war for new territories" doctrine of the Armenian Defense Minister Dmitry Tonoyan.

Explaining that Armenia is not interested in resolving the conflict, violating the peace talks, and trying to cover up its acts of aggression in the international community's eyes, the MP emphasized that UN resolutions and other international organizations' documents had not been followed.
