Traveler from UK: Visiting Azerbaijan’s Karabakh - unique experience for us

Visiting Azerbaijan’s Karabakh is a unique experience for all who are lucky enough to be here, Philip Lewis from the UK told Report’s correspondent accompanying a group of international travelers from 12 countries visiting Karabakh.

“Obviously, a lot of bad things happened in Karabakh: houses, mosques, schools were destroyed. But we also see that, despite all this, restoration work is now in full swing,” he said, adding that he was pleased to watch the fact that new roads and houses are being built there, destroyed cities and villages, infrastructure are being revived.

Lewis stressed that he would like to return to the liberated Azerbaijani lands in 3 or 5-10 years to see the results of this excellent work, which is now being carried out in this region.
