Azikh cave in Azerbaijan’s Khojavand district is one of the oldest sites of prehistoric man discovered in the world, it has an amazing history, Clare Francis, a British traveler, told Report’s correspondent.
She said that the history of this archaeological site goes back to the period of prehistoric man.
“I really liked this part of the program, I am impressed by visiting such a historically significant place. It was difficult to climb to the cave, stairs lead to it, which took about 20 minutes to overcome, but still I am satisfied,” she noted.
The traveler also noted that this was her second visit to Azerbaijan, however she was in Karabakh for the first time.
“I wanted to return to Azerbaijan, and especially to Karabakh, to look at the changes that have taken place and continue to occur here,” she said.
According to Francis, she definitely would like to come back there again in the future.
