Traveler from Sweden: Karabakh’s nature amazing

There is amazing nature in Azerbaijan's Karabakh, and the beauty of these places conquers a person, Swedish traveler Sonja Nylen, who is visiting Karabakh as part of a group of travelers led by Club 100 board member Bengt Hildebrand, told journalists, Report’s Karabakh bureau informs.

“I’m 87, but I’d like to come back here 10 years later if I can. I’d like to see how these places change over the next decade,” she said.

Nylen added that she was most impressed by the desire with which the Azerbaijanis are restoring their liberated territories, and how much effort and perseverance they put into it.

“The people here are very friendly,” she said, noting that she has visited more than 70 countries in her life.

“The mountain nature here is fantastic, somewhat reminiscent of the landscape of Kyrgyzstan,” the traveler added.

She also spoke about the mine problem in the liberated Azerbaijani territories, noting that she had seen similar minefields in other war-affected areas.
