Today marks 4 years since first terror attack committed by Armenians in Ganja

Today marks 4 years since the first rocket attack on the city of Ganja by the Armenian Armed Forces during the Second Karabakh War.

Report recalls that on October 4, 2020, around 10 am (GMT+4), rockets fired by Armenians hit a civilian residential area in Azerbaijan's second-largest city, including a two-story residental building and individual houses.

This rocket attack by Armenia was the first serious attack outside the Karabakh region where the war was ongoing. As a result of the enemy's bombing of Ganja, a civilian - Tunar Aliyev was killed, while 32 civilians were injured. Along with residential houses, civilian infrastructure and historical buildings were also damaged.

During the Second Karabakh War, the Armenian Armed Forces attacked the city of Ganja five times in total (on October 4, 5, 8, 11, 17) with rockets and heavy artillery. As a result, 26 people were killed, 175 were injured, and significant damage was caused to civilian infrastructure facilities and vehicles.
