Swedish expert: “Karabakh is a crucial place between Europe and Asia

After the end of the conflict with the Second Karabakh War, the permanent peace in the region is vital for the world in terms of building infrastructure and communications, a former member of the Swedish Riksdag, expert Pavel Gamov, told Report’s European bureau.

“It is already very important to improve the infrastructure in the region, as well as transport routes to Europe. Both people and goods should have better access to neighboring countries and continents from Azerbaijan and the Karabakh region. Karabakh, as a route, is an important place between Europe and Asia. Azerbaijan, Central Asian, and European countries are interested in improving the road network and communication routes to facilitate tourism, travels, trade, and other significant fields,” Gamov said.
