State Commission: Armenians threw corpses of Azerbaijani prisoners and hostages into sewage well

Prisoners and hostages who died as a result of torture were thrown into a sewage well in the Shusha prison area in chaotic and indecent conditions, Zaur Ismayilov, an employee of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, told Report.

He said that as a result of the excavations carried out between August 1-15, human remains of 17 people were discovered in the territory of the Shusha prison: "11 of those bone remains are complete, and 6 are different fragments of the human skeleton. The cemetery where the human remains were found was a well for the collection of sewage on the territory of the Shusha prison. Our captives and hostages who died from torture were thrown into that well in a chaotic and indecent condition."
