Separatists: Half of Armenians fled from Karabakh

Artak Beglaryan, the "representative" of the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic," said that more than half of the Armenians living in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan - Karabakh - have left their homes, Report says, citing foreign press.

Beglaryan noted that most Armenians fled to Armenia, while others moved inside Karabakh. He linked it to military operations.

According to Beglaryan, more than 50 percent of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh have left the area. He said the number of people leaving the region was 75,000.

A few days ago, there were images of Armenian servicemen's mass withdrawal from Nagorno-Karabakh and other occupied territories.

Moreover, another "representative" of the separatists, Vagram Pogosyan, confirmed that the Armenian military had left part of Azerbaijan's occupied territories.
