Russian, Armenian FMs discuss unblocking of transport links in South Caucasus

Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, during a telephone conversation, discussed the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the normalization of Yerevan-Baku relations, as well as the implementation of the tripartite agreements between Moscow, Baku and Yerevan on Karabakh, Report informs, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the parties considered the progress in the implementation of the tripartite agreements of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021.

“The commitment to their comprehensive and effective implementation was reiterated, particularly in terms of launching project activities to unblock transport and economic ties in the South Caucasus, delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” the ministry added.
