Roots of Peace president informed about mine threat in Fuzuli

The founder and head of the Roots of Peace international humanitarian organization, who is on a visit to the liberated territories, got acquainted with the demining work in the village of Horadiz, Fizuli region.

Report's Karabakh bureau informs that Heidi Kuhn was informed about the level of contamination of the territories by mines and unexploded ordnance, demining operations, types of found mines.

According to the information, 53 units of Armenian-made anti-personnel mines, 208 units of Russian-made TM-62 anti-tank mines, and 2 units of unexploded ordnance have so far been found in the territory of the village of Horadiz. The demining process in the territory continues. Various types of mines are found during the operations every day.
