Reason for organizing mutual visits of Azerbaijani and Armenian journalists in confidential conditions unveiled

The reason for the organization of mutual visits of Azerbaijani and Armenian journalists in confidential conditions, that is, without  informing the public about the date and participants of the visit, has been unveiled.

Report informs that head of Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tural Ganjaliyev said no detailed information was provided as trips were carried out on the basis of an agreement.

"We have always turned to the Armenian community for a constructive dialogue. We were always ready for such visits and dialogues and always supported such initiatives. We always sent our messages to the opposite side.

"As far as I can tell from the press, our journalists who went there did not encounter any problems.Since the meetings were held within the framework of security, by personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.Our journalists were transported by OSCE vehicles," the community head said.

Notably, the mutual visits of Azerbaijani and Armenian journalists took place on November 17-21 with the organization of the office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.
