A protest rally against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan continues on the Khankandi-Lachin road passing near Shusha city.
According to Report’s employee from the scene, environmental activists and volunteers call on the world community to protect the environment, continue to chant slogans: “Azerbaijan is the owner of its mineral resources!”, “End environmental crimes!”, “Stop ecoterror!”, “Protect nature!”, “No to ecocide! Yes to monitoring!” etc.
The protesters are holding banners in Azerbaijani, Russian and English, singing patriotic songs.
The protesters do not interfere with the movement of vehicles for humanitarian purposes.
