Ombudsman: Armenian terror killed 12 children, injured 50 in Azerbaijan

Four years have passed since the day when Armenians committed one of their most terrible crimes in Azerbaijani territories - the murder of two-year-old Azerbaijani girl Zahra Guliyeva.

Report informs that the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, appealed to the world community in this regard.

The appeal says that taking advantage of impunity, Armenia continued its policy of terror, which led to the death of innocent children during the ceasefire period and the Second Karabakh war.

"As a result of the shelling by the Armenian Armed Forces of settlements located far from the combat zone, 12 children were killed, 50 were injured, four of whom lost both parents, and many lost one of their parents."

The Ombudsman of Azerbaijan has repeatedly called on international organizations to condemn such facts resolutely, brought to the attention of international human rights and children's rights organizations the need to take tangible measures against the crimes' perpetrators.
