OIC delegation on fact-finding mission visits liberated Aghdam

A delegation of experts led by the chairman of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (IPHRC OIC) has visited the liberated city of Aghdam, Report informs.

The delegation first got acquainted with the demining work in the district, Report informs.

They also inspected residential buildings, civilian facilities, religious, cultural and historical monuments destroyed by Armenia during the occupation. The delegation carried out an on-site inspection into the Panakhali Khan mausoleum, Aghdam Juma and Giyasli mosques, as well as other destroyed cultural and social facilities in the city.

Chairman of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Saeed Mohamed Abdullah Omair Alghfeli, Deputy Chairman Achikgul Haji Ali, Director of the Commission Secretariat Javed Saglain and Executive Director of the Commission Secretariat Butt Marghoob Saleem are on an official visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Ombudswoman Sabina Aliyeva to carry out a joint fact-finding mission in the areas far from the scene of the military operations, where civilians and civilian infrastructures came under missile attacks.
