Moldovan MP supports Azerbaijan's territorial integrity

"For many years, Moldova and Azerbaijan have been working closely to strengthen the independence and sovereignty of our countries."

Deputy of the Maldovan Parliament Dumitru Diacov told Report.

According to him, like many other post-Soviet republics, the Republic of Moldova knows firsthand about the horrors of separatist wars.

"The dramatic military clashes in the zone of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, which resulted in numerous casualties among civilians, are yet another proof that the frozen conflicts pose a threat to security and stability in the region. Moreover, it once again emphasizes the importance of respecting the territorial integrity of our States within their internationally recognized borders," he stated.


The parliamentarian also noted that a strong friendship and mutual solidarity link Azerbaijan and Moldova.
