Mandate of Turkish servicemen in Azerbaijan extended for another year

A session of the Turkish Grand National Assembly was held today, Report informs, adding that the session decided to extend for another year the mandate of the Turkish military at the Turkish-Russian Joint Monitoring Center, temporarily located in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

Most of the political parties in the Turkish parliament, including the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), government-ally Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), the Republican People's Party (CHP), the Iyi (Good) Party, the Grand Unity Party (BBP) and their representatives voted in favor of the bill.

Thus, the term of service of the Turkish servicemen in Karabakh, who monitor the ceasefire and the maintenance of lasting peace in Karabakh, has been extended for another year.
