Lavrov to mull situation in Karabakh with Azerbaijani, Armenian FMs

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold meetings with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Armenian counterpart Ara Ayvazyan on April 1, Spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

“There will be meetings with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia. During the conversation, it is planned to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation, the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, the implementation of the agreements of the leaders of the countries, as well as a number of regional and international topics,” the spokesperson said.

Zakharova drew attention to the fact that the Foreign Ministry meetings will be held separately.

Jeyhun Bayramov has left for Moscow to participate in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
