“Now that the leaders of Yerevan and Baku have settled the issue of mutual recognition of the sovereignty of the two countries, the time has come for peaceful life, for its establishment, for strengthening trust. The Russian peacekeeping contingent will contribute in every possible way to this,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during the general political debates of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, Report informs via TASS.
Lavrov emphasized that Brussels and Washington are currently offering mediation to Azerbaijan and Armenia to destabilize the situation in the South Caucasus.
