Kremlin: Peacekeepers helping establish dialogue between Baku, Armenian residents of Karabakh

The main thing is to avoid attempts by third parties that do not have peacekeeping potential to establish their presence in the South Caucasus, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

Peskov noted that Russian peacekeepers are helping to establish dialogue between the Armenian residents of Karabakh and the central authorities of Azerbaijan: “Russian peacekeepers are on the territory of Azerbaijan. There are constant contacts with Baku and Yerevan. Russian peacekeepers are helping to establish dialogue between the Armenian community of Karabakh and the Azerbaijani authorities.”
