Kremlin: Karabakh issue should not become an arena for competition between Russia and US

The settlement process in Nagorno-Karabakh should not become an arena for political competition between Russia and the United States.

The Presidential Press-Secretary of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov told, Report says, citing TASS.

"The process of resolving the Karabakh crisis, which is at an acute stage, should not and cannot be a place for any rivalry or competition," Peskov said, answering the question of whether the Kremlin believes that the United States has managed to do more in this direction than Russia.

The Kremlin spokesman stressed that " Russia, as a co-chair of the [OSCE] Minsk Group, is ready to welcome any steps that will help stop the war."
