International travelers observe mine clearance process in Fuzuli district

A group of international travelers had the opportunity to witness the mine deactivation process in the Fuzuli district of Azerbaijan. The visitors were given a firsthand look at the demining efforts carried out by the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) in the recently liberated village of Horadiz.

According to Report, representatives from ANAMA provided the guests with detailed insights into the humanitarian mine clearance operations underway in the freed territories. They showcased maps highlighting the areas where demining work is still ongoing.

The travelers were then treated to a live demonstration of the deactivation process, where one of the detected mines in the area was safely detonated under controlled conditions.

Earlier in the day, the guests also visited the Jabrayil district, where they had the chance to explore the Khudafarin Bridge, an ancient monument of Azerbaijani architecture.
