Ilham Aliyev: Armenia violated ceasefire exactly two minutes later

"Everything will depend on how Armenia behaves because it violated the first two ceasefires. Within 24 hours after the first ceasefire based on humanitarian considerations, Armenia brutally broke the truce by firing ballistic missiles at Ganja at night. The first attack killed ten people. Many people were injured. Then they struck Ganja again at night. This time the number of victims was higher. Therefore, we had to respond," President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Italian Rai-1 TV channel on October 26.

"As for the second ceasefire, we have a chronology of violations of the ceasefire by Armenia. They broke it exactly two minutes after the scheduled ceasefire. So, a new truce came into force today at 08.00, and it is now 10:00 in Baku. Four minutes later, several shells were relaunched at the city of Tartar. We do not respond. We hope it was accidental. But if this continues, of course, we will have to respond adequately," the head of state added.
