Historic victory: Aghdam-Khankandi road starts operating

Azerbaijan's offer to provide assistance using the Aghdam-Khankandi road to meet the needs of the Armenian residents of Karabakh has already become a reality.

Report’s correspondent in Aghdam informed that the aid sent by the Russian Red Cross Society has already been sent to Khankandi to be delivered to Armenian residents living in Karabakh through the Aghdam-Khankandi road.

This is the next victory of Azerbaijan. Because food and other necessary goods will be sent to Karabakh through the territory of Azerbaijan, the full-fledged and sovereign owner of the region.

Even before the conflict, the Baku-Aghdam-Khankandi-Shusha highway and the Baku-Aghdam-Khankandi railroad played an important role in the development of Karabakh. Although the railroad was destroyed during the conflict, it is now possible to travel by road. Therefore, Armenians have no room for any excuses.

Azerbaijan has repeatedly declared its readiness to permanently take over the safety, health and security of the Azerbaijani citizens of Armenian descent living in Karabakh. Therefore, the realization of the humanitarian mission on the Aghdam-Khankandi road will help to accelerate the process of reintegration of Karabakh Armenians into Azerbaijan's society.

However, the opening of the Aghdam road does not cancel official Baku's demands for the withdrawal of all Armenian armed groups supported and financed by Armenia in Karabakh.

This region is the territory of Azerbaijan and all activities there must be carried out only and only within the framework of the country's Constitution and laws.
