Group of travelers & bloggers from several countries visit Azykh cave in Azerbaijan

A group of travelers and travel bloggers from ten countries has visited the Azykh cave in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

A group of 24 travelers from Ukraine, Hungary, India, Sweden, Turkiye, Denmark, Germany, US, Spain and Singapore will visit the liberated Azerbaijani territories within three days.

Foreign travelers were told about the historical significance of this unique archaeological monument of Azerbaijan, which has an important place in world history.

They were told that the remains of the Azykhanthropus found here in 1968 by Mammadali Huseynov are a unique find in the history of mankind. During the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, Armenians illegally removed precious artifacts, which violates international conventions.

Azykh cave is a complex of six caves near the village of Azykh. It is located at an altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level on the left bank of the Guruchay River in the Khojavend district, 3 km northeast of the village of Tug and 14 km northwest of Fuzuli city.
