Georgian PM: "We’re closely monitoring regional processes after Karabakh war"

"We are closely monitoring the processes in the region after the Karabakh war," Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said, while speaking at an online conference of the country's diplomatic corps accredited abroad, the local bureau of Report informs.

He said it was extremely important for Georgia to establish lasting peace in the region.

Touching upon close relations with the countries of the region, the prime minister said that his "peaceful neighborhood" initiative is aimed at developing dialogue in the region, restoring trust between neighbors, and strengthening Georgia's position as a mediator.
