Georgian delegation visits Fuzuli Int’l Airport

A delegation of Georgian cultural figures, ecologists, Turkologists, and bloggers, who arrived in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, toured the Fuzuli International Airport, Report informs.

The delegation was filled in on the operations of the airport and the fact that it was built in accordance with the highest international standards in a short eight months.

The opening of the Fuzuli International Airport took place in October 2021 with the participation of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The Fuzuli airport enjoys an international status and can take any types of planes.

The airport’s runway is 3,000 meters long and 60 meters wide and is fully equipped with instrumental landing and navigation systems, lighting, and primary and secondary radar systems to ensure flight safety in accordance with all ICAO requirements.

The apron area is 60,000 square meters and is designed for the parking of eight planes.
