Foreign travelers visit Aghdam

A delegation of more than 30 travelers of the Club 100 organization visited Aghdam today.

Report informs that famous travelers from Scandinavian countries saw with their own eyes all the evidence of Armenian vandalism, and also got acquainted with the progress of restoration work in Aghdam.

The guests visited civilian objects, religious and cultural-historical monuments destroyed during the occupation, including the Imaret complex, which houses the palace of Panahali Khan, the House of Culture, the Juma Mosque and the Alley of Martyrs of the Aghdam district.

A delegation of more than 30 travelers from the organization arrived in Karabakh and East Zangazur today. Travelers arriving from Sweden will visit the liberated territories of Azerbaijan in three days, where they will get acquainted with the destruction committed by Armenia during the occupation, as well as with the progress of restoration work.

Over the past two years, representatives of the main international travel clubs - Etic, MTP, TCC, NomadMania and the Turkish Travel Club have visited Karabakh and East Zangazur. This trip is seventh in a row.

The visit which is carried out as part of the so-called "dark tourism" is important for raising awareness in the world about the situation in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation.
