After local anti-terrorism measures carried out in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, during an inspection of the territories, further facts of desecration of mosques by Armenian forces have been revealed, Report informs referring to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was discovered that a mosque in the Malibayli village of Shusha district, allegedly built in the 17th century, was used as a stable for animals.
The minaret of the Malibayli mosque was blown up by the Armenian armed forces back in 1992; its ceiling was set on fire in several places and became unusable.
Such an atrocity committed against religious, historical and cultural monuments of Azerbaijan is another clear proof of Armenian vandalism.
