Expert: There should be no armed Armenians on Azerbaijan’s territory

There are all conditions for the Armenian community to live in Nagorno-Karabakh, and now it is necessary to create conditions for the return of Azerbaijanis there, Russian military expert, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko said at a press conference in Baku, Report informs.

At the same time, the expert stressed that ‘there shouldn’t be any armed Armenians on Azerbaijan’s territory.’

As for those responsible for the rocket attacks against the civilian population of Azerbaijani cities during the war, the Russian expert noted that all of them must be brought to account by the International Court of Justice.

"Those who participated in crimes against humanity in Khojaly should be prosecuted. Rocket attacks were also launched from the territory of Armenia against Azerbaijani cities. This was done to provoke a response from Azerbaijan and involve Russia and the CSTO in the conflict. The strikes were delivered from the territory of Armenia. I believe that the officials who gave the order to strike at night against the civilian population should be prosecuted as part of the international court," he added.
