Czech NGO rep: 'What I saw in Edilli reminded me of Auschwitz'

"What I've seen here is indeed heartbreaking. What I saw in Edilli, the remains of bodies in the mass graves - all this reminded me of the Auschwitz concentration camp, and I experienced the feelings I experienced when I was in Auschwitz for the first time," Radek Smolka, head of Czech Youth Association, told Report.

Radek Smolka noted that he had already been to Azerbaijan several times and every time he returned back home, he tried to share the truths of Azerbaijan with others.

"Thankfully, our country is familiar with the facts of Azerbaijan and the Karabakh events to some extent, Armenian propaganda is not so strong in the Czech Republic. Nevertheless, the truth about tragic events should be brought to the attention of all people. So it would be great if as many people as possible from my country came and saw what has happened here with their own eyes and understood the conflict better," he said.
