Water released from Sugovushan to Tartar river after 28 years

After Sugovushan village was liberated by Azerbaijani Army, as a result of a counter-attack, the release of water from the Sugovushan water reservoir has been achieved.

Currently, as a result of the regulation of water discharged from the reservoir, water supply to Tartar, Goranboy, and Yevlakh regions, at the same time, the ecological balance has been ensured, Report’s correspondent on frontline said.

Mehman Karimov, Chief Engineer of Tartar District Branch of Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management OJSC, said that water release from the Sugovushan reservoir of Sugovushan village is a celebration for residents: “We thank the Azerbaijani Army and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief for this.”

Notably, the Sugovushan reservoir is located on the Tartarchay river in Sugovushan village of Tartar region. With a total volume of 5.86 million cubic meters, the reservoir has been under occupation for 28 years.
