CSTO: Serious measures needed to reduce tensions at Azerbaijani-Armenian border

Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas has expressed concern over the tense situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, Report informs with reference to his interview with Armenpress.

According to Zas, the border issue should be resolved only through political and diplomatic means.

"We support the agreements reached in Sochi on November 26. It is necessary to take steps to increase the level of stability and security on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border and establish a commission to determine the borders. Clearly, more serious measures are needed to reduce tensions," he said.

Zas's three-day visit to Armenia began today. He will meet with Armenia's top political and military leadership during the visit.
