Chief Rabbi of Ashkenazi Jews talks on Aghdam trip: It is very sad to see all this

It is very sad to see the liberated Azerbaijani territories in such a condition. People haven’t been here and have been unable to return to their homes for many years, Chief Rabbi of Ashkenazi Jews of Azerbaijan Shneor Segal told reporters in Aghdam, Report informs.

“I believe that we need to turn this sad page. Years later, representatives of all religious communities gathered in these devastated lands and prayed all together. I think the Almighty looks at this from above and understands that we have successfully passed this test. We are back here, but with different thoughts - to build, develop, unite people together.

"I am sure, God will see that we were here together today, and bring great blessings to these lands again. May the Almighty give strength to our President and all those who are engaged in the restoration and return of life to these lands,” said Segal.

He also prayed in memory of those killed and for the health of all those wounded during the Patriotic War and expressed the hope that in the near future, returning to Aghdam again, he will see a prosperous land there.
