Chairman of Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh makes report

A year has passed since the formation of the new Board of “Azerbaijani community of the Nagorno-Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”

Report informs that the Community has held a board meeting in this regard.

Chairman of the Community Tural Ganjaliyev made a comprehensive report on the work and projects implemented during the year. Ganjaliyev said the Azerbaijani Community of the Nagorno-Karabakh region focused on international relations, analytical and information areas, relations with the public and media outlets, involvement in social networks, participation in local events and other issues.

He said the main purpose of the Community was to hold regular meetings with international organizations and to inform the representatives of these organizations about the position of the Azerbaijani Community of the Nagorno-Karabakh region on various issues. In this regard, he stressed the importance of the meetings held in Baku by the delegation led by the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Miroslav Lajčak, co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, ambassadors of other countries, members of the Minsk Group, diplomatic missions of other countries, as well as the European Union, Council of Europe, UN, and the Red Cross.

The head of the Community stressed the benefits of the participation at the OSCE Conference on Human Rights in Refugees and IDPs at the 2019 Human Dimension Meeting in Warsaw, as well as visits of the Community’s delegation to Los Angeles, Ankara and Brussels, the political center of Europe.

Ganjaliyev hailed the analytical and information activities, social networking, relations with the public, especially with youth and media organizations, as well as interviews of community members with the foreign press.

Later, Board members expressed views on the work done during the year.
