Belarusian Ambassador urges Armenia to stop attacks on Azerbaijani cities

"Civilians, children, and the elderly should not be victims of such a tragedy."

The Belarusian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Gennady Akhramovich, told reporters in Ganja visit, Report says.

"I express my deep condolences to the residents of Ganja and the entire people of Azerbaijan. I wish a speedy recovery to those who suffered from these blows. The memory of dead will live foreover. I call for an end to attacks on Azerbaijani cities; this city is outside the war zone. There are no military facilities here. I witnessed it myself. What is their fault?" - he said

The Ambassador also noted the importance of starting peace talks as soon as possible.

"UN resolutions must be implemented immediately. It is a legitimate demand of the Azerbaijani side. It is necessary to return to productive negotiations with respect for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, " the Belarusian Ambassador stated.
