Azerbaijani held captive by Armenians for almost a year speaks about their escape plan - VIDEO

"Armenians created an 'alley' for themselves in Khankendi. They took Azerbaijani captives there and beheaded them before the Armenian graves, and showed them to us. They did it with special cruelty and enjoyed it," Famil Aliyev, a former serviceman who was held captive by Armenians for 343 days during the First Karabakh War, told Report.

He said that Armenian vandals brutally tortured all Azerbaijani prisoners, including women, the elderly, and children:

"I was conscious that they would kill me sooner or later, so I planned to escape from the captivity. On the night of December 9-10, we were brought to work in Fuzuli. After loading stones on several KamAZ trucks, we had 10 minutes to rest. There was only a supervisor named David. Although my three friends and I were tired, hungry, and thirsty, we jumped on the Armenian supervisor, took up arms, and disarmed him. I wanted to kill him, but the rule was that if an Azerbaijani killed an Armenian and escaped, then three Azerbaijani prisoners would be shot instead. So, I gave up this idea. We tied their hands and threw them into the basement. Thus, our plan to escape from captivity came true ... ", he said.
