Azerbaijan shaped prosperous future for Southern Caucasus by restoring its sovereignty, Peter Tase says

Azerbaijan, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, initiated successful counter-offensive military operations on September 27, 2020, that ensured the entire territorial sovereignty of the nation and shaped a prosperous future for the Southern Caucasus, as well as ensured a landscape with greater security in Europe, US political scientist and expert in international relations Peter Tase told Report.

”President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has demonstrated a great sense of leadership, resolve, valiant statecraft abilities and has constantly defended the principles, resolutions, emanating from the UN Security Council,” he said, adding that the president unlike any other leader in modern history, has bolstered the operational capability of Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and tremendously elevated the sense of moral and patriotism among the people of Azerbaijan.

Tase noted that with the full recovery of Azerbaijan’s sovereign territory, the glorious Armed Forces of Azerbaijan have achieved the most important geopolitical objective in the country’s entire history and orchestrated a military victory that was never seen in Eurasia in the last thirty years.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 9, 1989 and the reunification of Germany, European History does not have a major political-military event that has the magnitude and impressive results that were accomplished by the Government of Azerbaijan during the Second Karabakh War, he added.

“In the last thirty years, the Second Karabakh War is the most important military event in the history of Europe. Armed Forces of Azerbaijan have secured the full territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and placed Baku in the ivy league of international politics platform and military tactics beyond European theater of operations,” he said.

“It is impressive to see the economic development that is going on today in Karabakh, and these effective policies are a source of inspiration for other countries beyond Europe,” added Tase.

The outstanding economic projects, Fuzuli International Airport, and strategic transportation corridors swiftly being developed by the Government of Azerbaijan are concrete actions that demonstrate Baku’s leadership and commitment to developing the recently liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Karabakh and the seven surrounding districts.

There are many countries in the world that ought to take a look at Azerbaijan marvelous economic policies and infrastructure projects; there is a tremendous wealth of knowledge and effective public policy administration in Baku that could make a positive impact in other regions of the world, concluded Tase.
