The liberated territories of Azerbaijan - Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur - create new opportunities for investment in the country, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov said at the opening of the IV Tashkent Investment Forum.
Report quotes him as saying large-scale construction and restoration work is currently being under way in Karabakh.
"Good prospects for investment cooperation are opening up, given the new realities that arose with the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from occupation. Today, we are carrying out large-scale restoration work on these lands. Taking this opportunity, I would like to especially note the opening of the Mirza Ulugbek School and the Kurmangazy Creative Center in the city of Fuzuli, liberated from occupation, which were built as a gift from the presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan," he added.
Asadov noted that the people of Azerbaijan are grateful to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan for these gifts.
