Armenians fire at Azerbaijani civilians in Gazakh region

Armenia continues committing provocations on the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border.

The units of the Armenian Armed Forces have intensively shelled Azerbaijani positions on April 1 since 12:25 pm, using large-caliber machine guns and sniper rifles, the State Border Service told Report.

The hostile units from their positions near Kirans village of Armenia’s Ijevan district fired at Mazam and Gushchu Ayrim villages of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh region, the Azerbaijani border checkpoints nearby, military and civilian vehicles moving in that direction, as well as civilians doing agricultural work.

The enemy caused damage to the vehicles moving along.

The Azerbaijani side prevented the Armenian provocation and silenced the enemy by retaliatory fire.
