Armenian shelling of Goranboy killed one person

Aggressive Armenia continues to commit acts of terrorism against the civilian population, grossly violating international law's norms and principles, Report informs.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, on October 8, 2020, on the instructions of Armenia's military-political leadership, the occupying forces of the attacker country targeted settlements and demilitarized zones as well as non-military, clearly visible and distinguished objects, including civilians. Guliyeva Turyan Tofig, born in 1957, a resident of Shahmammadli village of Goranboy region, was killed, and her house was damaged as a result of heavy artillery shelling.

Besides, the rocket attacks on the city of Ganja by the armed forces of the enemy on 08.10.2020 at 04:00 ruined several civilian objects, one car, and several residential buildings.

Necessary investigative measures are being taken by the prosecutor's office to determine the details of the incident. The public will be informed about the results.
