Armenia hid Azerbaijani prisoners from international organizations

"Contrary to the norms of international humanitarian law, human rights, and the Geneva Conventions which it joined, Armenia hid Azerbaijani prisoners from international organizations. It did not provide timely information about them and treated them inhumanly. In this regard, there are also irrefutable video materials and photos recorded by Armenian servicemen," Eldar Samadov, Deputy Head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons said, Report informs.

"14 Azerbaijani citizens were rescued from captivity and brought home. They give their testimonies under the established procedure and participate in a preliminary investigation, with the essential expert examinations. We will take relevant legal decisions after the completion of these procedures." he said.
