ANAS: Armenians exploited mineral springs in Kalbajar

"Given the mountainous landscape of Kalbajar, it is possible to achieve better results by developing livestock than by engaging with agriculture," said Mirnuh Ismaylov, head of the department of the Institute of Geography of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Geography.

According to Report, Ismaylov noted that the exploitation of mineral springs in Kalbajar alone caused 7.5 billion damage to the country throughout the years of occupation.

He noted that the Armenians packaged the water and exported it under their names: "Their revenues from our gold and mercury deposits have been many times higher, which is due to our losses."
