Committee for protection of tourists' rights created in Azerbaijan

For the first time, a Committee for the Protection of Tourists' Rights has been established within Azerbaijan Tourism Association.
The management of the structure was entrusted to the expert on tourism Rahman Guliyev.

“The problems faced by tourists have not been resolved in many cases. The newly created Committee will provide legal assistance as a non-profit organization. Our main goal is to eliminate the gap, mistrust between tourists and travel companies, ” R. Guliyev said.

According to him, lawyers will be involved in the work of the committee: “Especially during the pandemic, tourists faced several problems in the issue of air ticket refunds, cancellation of tour packages, accommodation in hotels.”

Shortly, the website of the Committee for the Protection of Tourists' Rights and a hotline will be launched. Tourists who encounter any problems while traveling can contact the Committee.
