The German automaker Mercedes-Benz is recalling about 250,000 cars worldwide, Report informs via DPA.
According to the German Federal Motor Vehicle Authority, the recalled cars include AMG GT, C-Class, CLE, E-Class, EQE, EQS, GLC, S-Class and SL models released in 2023. More than 37,000 cars are likely to be recalled in Germany.
According to the information, the reason is that some fuses may not meet the requirements. This in turn can lead to engine failure. The risk of fire cannot be ruled out either.
A Mercedes spokesman told DPA that certain parts would be replaced in such vehicles as a precaution.
