A total of 477 public passenger transport vehicles were produced in Azerbaijan in 2025.
According to Report's calculations based on data from the State Statistical Committee, the figure was four times higher than in 2024 and 239 times higher than in 2020.
Of the buses produced during the reporting period, 249 were manufactured in Baku and 228 in Hajigabul.
Overall, 4,973 vehicles were produced in Azerbaijan last year, down 27% year-on-year but 2.3 times higher than five years earlier.
The total included 4,038 passenger cars, down 33% from a year earlier but 2.1 times higher than five years ago.
The country also produced 458 trucks, representing a 34% decline year-on-year and a 2.3-fold increase compared with five years earlier.
In addition, 14 trailers and semi-trailers were manufactured in Azerbaijan during the reporting period, down 30% from 2024 and 26% compared with five years earlier.
