Weapons abandoned by Armenians during Patriotic War found in Shusha

Measures are underway to find the weapons abandoned by the Armenian army, which suffered a crushing defeat in Azerbaijani lands liberated from occupation during the Great Patriotic War.

Report informs, citing the Barda regional group of the Interior Ministry's Press Service, that the Shusha District Police Department, together with representatives of relevant agencies, conducts regular raids in the service area to detect explosives, weapons and neutralize unusable ones.

During the next operation, one rifle, six different grenades, 13 grenade launchers, and mortar shells, 5500 7.62-caliber cartridges, 13 boxes full of bullets for machine guns and automatic weapons, and other ammunition abandoned by Armenian servicemen were found and confiscated by the police officers.
