Accused Bako Sahakyan admitted that weapons and ammunition were brought to the region from the Republic of Armenia, according to Report.
Sahakyan made this admission while responding to questions from the state prosecution during a court session at the Baku Military Court on March 14.
When asked about how military salaries were paid in the occupied territories, he stated, "We did not have such expenses in the 'Nagorno-Karabakh' budget or its 'army'. All military expenses, including salaries and provisions for soldiers, were allocated directly from the Armenian budget. It had nothing to do with the 'loans' provided to us."
The trial continues for Armenian citizens accused of committing crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including the preparation and conduct of aggressive war, genocide, violation of the laws and rules of war, as well as terrorism, financing terrorism, forcible seizure and retention of power, and numerous other crimes resulting from Armenia's military aggression.
